Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has vowed to work closely with newly launched Radio Shujaa 88.0 FM.

The station is under Bishop Anthony Musembi’s JCC Nakuru Church.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika was the Chief during the launch of the Station at Langalanga estate in Nakuru City.

Speaking during the event, Kihika lauded Bishop Musembi for the commendable work he is doing at JCC Church and for investing in a radio station that will not only spread the gospel but also educate, inspire, inform, and mentor the youth into becoming responsible citizens.
Kihika noted and was pleased to learn that 90 percent of the staff at Radio Shujaa FM are Gen Z, a testament to the church’s commitment to empowering young people.
She pledged to collaborate closely with the station in advancing youth empowerment initiatives across Nakuru County.
Kihika also used the moment to highlight several ongoing youth-focused programs, including the Sh100 million Wezesha Fund offering low-interest loans, initiatives at the Youth Empowerment Centre in Bondeni, the VTC capitation grant of Sh30,000 per learner, and the Tools for Work Program.
“We will also leverage the Radio Shujaa platform to promote our county’s development projects and opportunities for young people,” she stated.
The event was also graced by Pastor Maureen Musembi, Trade CECM Stephen Kuria, and Chief Officers Francis Njoroge and Dr. Victor Achoka.
