Residents of Kuresoi North Constituency will have a reason to smile once the upcoming ultra-modern Level 4 Hospital is completed.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has revealed that the facility is the first one ever in Kuresoi North and is at 35 percent complete.
Kihika was speaking on Saturday August 9, 2025 when she held a consultative session with opinion leaders from Kuresoi North Sub-county, led by area MP Alfred Mutai at St Joseph Minor Seminary in Molo.
According to Kihika, the 80-bed facility will include a maternity ward, theatre, outpatient services, a pharmacy, a lab, and an X-ray machine.
Meanwhile, she revealed that her administration has operationalized the previously stalled Githima Dispensary.
The Dispensary is now offering essential services to residents of Kiptororo Ward.
The Governor also assured that the dispensaries in the area will be equiped and additional staff employed to ensure better service delivery to the people.
On matters health insurance, Governor Kihika encouraged residents to register in large numbers with the new Social Health Authority (SHA).
Health docket, Kihika was categorical that has seen development in every sub county as her administration is working to ensure level 4 facilities in every subCounty.
