Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has expressed optimism that Devolution is on the right track.
She noted that the journey towards transformation of the country is vested in devolution.
In a statement to newsrooms, Kihika who is attending Homabay International Investment Conference, said Kenya has great potential in matters innovation.
“This morning, in the company of my colleagues Governors and USA ambassador Meg Whitman, I stopped at various exhibitions on display at the Homa Bay International Investment Conference grounds at the Tom Mboya University, Homa Bay Town,” she said.
She stated that she was gratified with the richness in the display of various agricultural products, the Kenya Shipping Yard, financial institutions and the innovations by entrepreneurs from Homabay County.
With such richness in resources and innovations, Kihika notes that with focus, skills development and requisite support, devolution is on its path to transforming the country.
