The director at the Nakuru Municipal board Kamau Kuria was on Thursday summoned and grilled at Njoro Police station.
Kamau Kuria was summoned by police following complaints raised by residents of Njoro concerning a fumigation exercise he conducted in the area.
According to locals, the exercise was conducted without key stakeholders among them the Constituency COVID-19 response team as well as the public health officers.
Area MP Charity Kathambi through phone interview stated that locals were worried and that is why they raised concerns on the fumigation exercise.
“There is no way someone can just wake up and start fumigating without consulting even the COVID-19 team at the Constituency level,” she said.
