Julia Picha joins global volunteers to end problems troubling youth

Africa must substitute its chase for donations from foreigners with growing young people into top-notch leaders and faucet their drives and abilities in changing its wanting monetary tale to lushness.

As poverty, unemployment, seclusion by governments are indigenous Africa with Kenya being one among them, Julia Picha a sparkling graduate of Karatina University has embarked in volunteering at international level with a purpose to learn how to be the solution of issues of Kenyan youth.

Picha who was born and bred in West Pokot says the participation of young people in development programs has a mystic strength that will result in innovative answers to address problems bedeviling them.

In October this year, she attended Clinton Global Initiative University Conference (CGI U) as a mentee and Campus representative at the event attended by 1,000 student leaders, social entrepreneurs and dignitaries from around the globe who were equipped to build innovative network globally.

The revolution touches five key regions that encompass education, environment and climate change, poverty remedy, peace, and human rights and public fitness.

The convention featured workshops and panel discussions with former President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton and the vice chair of Clinton Foundation Chelsea Clinton amongst different awesome dignitaries.

“At the event, I decided to have a study better techniques on how to fundraise for girls and women empowerment projects as well as building networks of beneficial persons willing within building Kenya and Africa by extension,” she stated.

She is determined to pursue Women Empowerment projects in rural areas of Pokot and participate in stopping the FGM danger, early marriages and early pregnancy which have curtailed bright future of young ladies.

Julia believes in networking with young leaders and experts who are on foot out to remedy comparable troubles in developing countries.

According to her, youth should stop crying and looking up to the antique and governments for answers to their problems and come out sturdy, look at their weakest elements and search for durable answers which will enhance their living standards and participate in building the nations.

 “We are lucky in this digital age that we can connect globally with people to help promote our social impact, we have easy access internet, blogs, books, mp3 downloads, social media, free e-books and hence we absolutely have no excuse,anyone not to accomplish a goal of making their communities better due to lack of access to resources. We should all be open and grab the opportunities that come our way for betterment of our communities,” she says
