Jubilee Party Nakuru Branch welcomes Party Leader Uhuru Kenyatta’s decision

Just a day after Jubilee Party Leader Uhuru Kenyatta made changes in the top party leadership, members of Jubilee Party in Nakuru County have welcomed the move.

Addressing press at Nakuru County Jubilee Party office situated at Section 58, the members said the move is healthy towards revamping the party to the next level ahead of 2027 General Polls.

Led by Jubilee Party Nakuru Branch Secretary General Charles Mburu, they lauded Party Leader Uhuru Kenyatta for the adjustment made in the Party.

At the same time, they vowed to rally behind the new structure of leadership as well support Jubilee Party Presidential Candidate Dr. Fred Matiang’i.

The members vowed to ensure that the party maintains its national face as well as move to the grassroot to strengthen it even more.

“We are here to state that we are in support of our Party Leader towards revamping Jubilee Party even more as we head to 2027 where we shall form the next government under the leadership of Dr.Fred Matiang’i as President,” stated Mburu.

He added that as Jubilee members and party in general they have no time to waste on sideshows but focus is on how to get the country out of economic bondage.

According to Mburu, the Jubilee Party Leader has shown the direction that Dr. Fred Matiang’i is a person who will fix this country, from education to health and even to matters economy having served in several dockets as Cabinet Secretary.

“We have trust in Dr. Matiang’i as a person who can fix this country,” he stated.

Mburu who was flanked by a section of Nakuru Jubilee Party Aspirants, also used the moment to refute claims that Nakuru Jubilee office has wrangles.

According to him, there is only one main office at Nakuru Section 58 that will soon be opened officially.

He was however quick to state that any aspirant for any position in Nakuru County is free to open offices anywhere to help revamp and strengthen the party.

At the same time, he assured aspirants that there is no favoured aspirants and that nominations will determine who the people want.

“We have different aspirants and they are at liberty to open Jubilee office with one aim- to strengthen the party. So I can assure you that Jubilee Party Nakuru is still strong and we shall be moving to grassroot to sensitize on new membership registration. We invite aspirants too who would like to walk with us,” stated Mburu.

Sentiments echoed by Jane Wangeci who is aspiring Woman Rep Nakuru County.

She expressed optimism in Jubilee’s leadership adding that with the Blue print in place, the Party will bring change once it forms the next government.

“We are very grateful to our party Leader Uhuru Kenyatta for the changes he made in the party. This he did for the sake of strengthening the party. We will rally behind him and Matiang’i candidacy,” she said.

Wakili Kwach Ochieng’ a Jubilee aspirant for Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat, was categorical that Party Leader Uhuru Kenyatta served the country well during his tenure as President and his decision in party is lauded.

He called for  integrity, constitutionalism and rule of law as the principles of the party mobing forward to 2027 polls.

Sentiments echoed by Eunice Njeri-a Jubilee aspirant for Bahati Parliamentary seat.

She vowed to champion for women, youth in Bahati towards registering as members in the Jubilee Party.

Beth Wanjiku- a Gen z aspirant for Kiamaina Ward in Bahati called on Dr. Fred Matiang’i to ensure his leadership brings to an end the issue of tokensim and favouritism.

Tom Kirubi- a Jubilee Party aspirant for Biashara Ward told off those who have been advocating for tribal parties.

He revealed that Jubilee Party has the national image accomodating everyone hence the reason why he will be contesting on the Party ticket.

Famous political activist Muhindi wa Molo stated that he is optimistic that Jubilee Party will produce President come 2027.

He called on party members to remain united and strengthen the party that ruled for 10 years.

“We are optimistic that Dr. Matiang’i will conduct smart campaigns towards victory,” he said.
