Jubilation over good KCPE performance continues

Jubilation over good performance in the 2016 KCPE results continuesin most schools in Nakuru and the neighboring Nyandarua County with stake holders in the education sector welcoming the new examination guidelines set by the ministry of education.
At Josnem academy located in Ngorika at the boarder of Nyandarua and Nakuru counties, parents and teachers joined top pupils in celebrating impressive results posted by the 2016 KCPE class.
The school that had 70 candidates registered a mean score of 386 with the top candidate scoring 421 marks.
Joyce waweru a director of Josnem schools said that the performance was impressive.
She said that the new rules set out by the ministry of education has set a level playing ground for fair competition in the education sector.
She said that for the first time in the examinations history, pupils will relax in confidence knowing that the reaped what they sweat for.
According to Joseph Mugo the head teacher of Josnem academy, the last nine years they have been posting good results adding that they owe their success to God and support from the board of directors.
He called on all stakeholders in the education sector to join hands and support education Cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i saying that they are meant for the good of the education sector.
