How MP Charity Kathambi has ensured peaceful coexistence in Njoro Constituency

Before her election as Njoro MP, the Constituency used to experience numerous unrests.

Areas such as Likia, Mauche, Mau Narok and Nessuit were not new to conflicts.

However, election of Charity Kathambi as area Member of Parliament in 2017 meant a new leaf.

A first female MP for Njoro, Kathambi vowed to unite all communities living in Njoro.

As a mother knows how to take care of all her children, MP Kathambi demonstrated the motherly love to all the communities living in Njoro.

Through her various strategies and peace meetings and dialogues, Njoro Constituency began to witness peace in all the Wards.

Kathambi- a peace ambassador recognized both locally and nationally used all that pertains to ensure coexistence in Njoro.

A visit to Njoro now and you witness the peaceful coexistence by communities.

Kathambi believes that without peace no development can be realized.

She recently lauded Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika for helping unite all Nakuru leaders for the sake of development to the people.

“Peace is paramount in our Constituency, County and country and I want to thank all stakeholders in Njoro for enabling peaceful coexistence,” she stated in a past interview.

The second term serving Lawmaker will be defending her seat come 2027.
