Molo town or Moro Town as locals would call it is a town in Nakuru County.
A town that bears the scars of skirmishes from 1992 and 2007.
But besides that, Molo as a town has rich history.
Within the town, is a school that has a number defining it.
This is none other than Molo Secondary School.
The school is commonly referred to us ‘220’ and for locals here a mention of 220, then one knows you are referring to Molo Secondary School.
Famousnakuru.co.ke has learnt that the 220 refers to the Postal address for the school.
As is history of Kenyans and schools nicknames, Molo Secondary has gained the name ‘220’ which will take years to be erased or even replaced.
The school- mixed day, recently hosted Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki during economic empowerment program.
