Former Hivisasa writer Kel Wesh, laid to rest

Politicians, relatives, bloggers, journalists and friends of the late Kelvin Waweru Njuguna (Kel Wesh) on Saturday gathered in Solai home to give their last respect.

Among those who attended was Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri, former Nakuru Gubernatorial aspirant and immediate former Nacada boss John Mututho, several MCAs among them Kabazi’s Dr.Peter Mbae and Flamingo’s Eddy Kiragu.

Every leader who stood to speak eulogized the late who died at 26 as a dedicated young man who had great dreams.

Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri took the opportunity to call on Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui to focus on creating more jobs for the youths whom the legislator said had been neglected.

“We have many youths in this county who have been neglected and I am calling upon Governor to think about them,” said Ngunjiri.

Nakuru Governor who was not present at the burrial was represented by Nakuru County CECm for education Raymond Komen.

Kel Wesh died on Saturday in Naivasha after he was involved in an accident.

The blogger was riding on a motorbike  when they were hit by a car.

The two died on the spot.

Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru confirmed the incident.

The news of the death hit Nakuru bloggers and journalists like a storm as they came to terms with the demise of one of them.

Kel Wesh started his blogging in Nakuru by reporting for Hivisasa.com as a citizen journalist.
