Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu on Friday August 15, 2025 graced Orok Kiteng ceremony at Olopito in Nkareta Ward.
The event was for the Ilkiramat age set Emanyatta.
During the event , Governor Ntutu reiterated the need for culture presevation.
“The preservation of our cultural practices and Maasai traditions stands as a testament to the vibrancy, unity, and resilience of our community,” he stated.
He pointed out that through these timeless customs, there is safeguard for rich heritage and ensure it is transmitted to future generations with pride and dignity.
The Governor used the moment to highlight what his administration is doing within the area.
He was accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Soipan Tuya, the Principal Secretary for Tourism, Mr. John Ololtua, Woman Representative, Rebecca Tonkei, Emurua Dikir MP, Hon. Johanna Ngeno; and County Secretary, Mr. Maiyani Tuya, among other leaders.
