Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has lauded residents for their huge turn out during the just concluded public participation on the 2024/2025 budget estimates.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all residents who turned up to take part in the Public Participation exercise regarding the 2024/2025 Financial year budget that has been ongoing since Tuesday across the county,” she said.
While reiterating the importance of the exercise as enshrined in the constitution, Kihika noted that the people’s input is key.
According the Kihika, such inputs will greatly help in shaping future of all the 55 wards in Nakuru.
She added that, it is through that resources are allocated where they are needed.
“Your input is invaluable in shaping the future of our wards and ensuring that our resources are allocated where they are needed most,” said Kihika.
Kihika once again reiterated her administration’s commitment towards transformation of Nakuru County.
