The Government is working to embed green skills at the heart of training delivery across the Technical Vocational Education Training(TVET).

This was revealed by Principal Secretary State Department for Technical, Vocational Education and Training Esther Muoria.
Speaking in Naivasha during the opening of a workshop on the same, the PS termed the move as key in matters environmental sustainability.
“I had the honour of opening the TVET curriculum greening workshop in Naivasha, convened to embed green skills at the heart of training delivery across TVET institutions,”

In her speech , she called on the participants to take bold, transformative steps to ensure that environmental sustainability is no longer peripheral, but central to Kenya’s technical training.
Curriculum developers are continually moving beyond conventional models and redefining workforce readiness in the 21st century by integrating environmental responsibility into every level of instruction.
