Gorogosi: There’s no enmity in politics, the best wins

Biashara Ward MCA aspirant on UDA ticket David Macharia alias Gorogosi has maintained that there is no enmity in politics.

Speaking on Wednesday February 18, 2026 during the burial of boxing legend Christopher Kariuki alias Kawasaki, the aspirant stated politics should never cause hostility nomatter the political stands of individuals.

He cited that politics is all about competition with the best candidate making it to become the leader of the day.

According to Gorogosi, political leadership is like chamas commonly referred to as Kitate where everyone has a chance to lead when his or her time comes.

“In politics, we are not enemies, it’s just a little competition where whoever outshines the other then becomes the leader for five years,” he said.

Gorogosi who is also political pointman for Maina Wakabura-an aspirant for Nakuru Town East parliamentary seat, relayed his message of condolence to the family.

“Wakabura was to be here today but he was held up with some other matters. However he send me to relay his condolences to the family and assured that he will be with you in prayers for strength and sobriety,” stated Gorogosi.
