Residents of Bahati and Dundori Wards who own plots will soon have a reason to smile as County Government of Nakuru steps in to ensure they have title deeds.
Through Department of Lands, the county Government is conducting a document verification exercise in Bahati and Dundori Wards.
This is part of preparations to issue title deeds.
According to Governor Susan Kihika, this is a crucial step in securing property rights.
The Governor through the Department concerned has called on plot owners participate to ensure the accuracy of their property documents, expedite the process of obtaining the title deed and prevent potential land disputes in the future.
“The exercise will run for the entire week and your cooperation is highly appreciated as we work towards securing your property rights and enhancing land ownership transparency in Nakuru County,” reads the statement sent to Newsrooms.
