Kabarak school had the best candidate scoring 451.
In Gilgil Sub County, academic giants produced some of the best candidates.St. Peters Elite school, Gilgil hills academy and West way schools producing some of the best candidates in the county.
At west way school the best student had 438 Marks while the best student at Gilgil Hills academy got 443 marks.
St. Peters Elite School which produced the best candidate in the county in 2017 had more than 30 candidates who scored over 400 marks with the best candidate scoring 437 marks.
Interviewed pupils said that it took hard work and dedication to achieve the good results.
Teachers at said that discipline is key to good performance.
They called on parents to take good care of their children during Christmas vacation in order to avoid cases of teenage pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Moi primary school in Nakuru was one of the public schools that performed well with the top candidate scoring 440 marks.
