Minority Leader in the county Assembly of Nakuru who is also MCA for Kaptembwa Ward Dan Ambale has called on Nakuru residents to elect leaders who are ready to serve.
Speaking in Kivumbini Ward on Sunday during a consultative meeting with residents, Ambale who was elected on ODM ticket said a time has come for residents to rethink before electing leaders to avoid regrets.
“If you cannot elect leaders who are not ready to serve then you are the people who will remain to regret for another 5 years” he said.
Noting that ODM party had a few slots in the last general elections, Ambale called on residents living in ODM zones in Nakuru such as Lakeview Ward in Naivasha, Kivumbini Ward and Kaptembwa ward to ensure that they support the party fully.
The Minority leader in the county Assembly of Nakuru also announced his support for the Kivumbini Ward MCA aspirant Neto Sakwa who will be battling it out with among others incumbent MCA Vitalis Okello (ODM) and Former Councilors Risper Ouma and Rose Lai (ODM) and James Kihoria(TNA).
“I know this Kivumbini Ward has more than 5 ODM aspirants but I expected all of them to look at past history and focus on supporting Sakwa this time round” said Ambale.
Kivumbini ward in Nakuru county has a history of being an ODM zone with many past leadership being elected on an ODM ticket.
