Elderly members of Ogiek Community were treated to early Christmas at Nkareta Ogiek Cultural Centre in Narok County.
It was a beautiful day spent with the over 20 elderly members of the Ogiek community in Nkareta, Narok County.
The gathering at the Ogiek Cultural center created a space for reconnection, laughter and cultural belonging.
According to Ogiek Peoples Development Program(OPDP) Executive Director Daniel Kobei, this is important step in ensuring elders feel seen, valued, and involved.
From sharing Christmas gifts to cutting cake together, the joy on their faces said it all.
Kobei added that these moments of togetherness strengthen not just community bonds, but also the health and happiness of our elders.
