Dr. Rani Ramchandani Hsc marks her 47th Birthday with needy families at Nyamaroto slums, explains why she always celebrates her birthdays with the needy

Nakuru-based Philanthropist Dr.Rani Ramchandani Hsc on Saturday November 1, 2025 celebrated her 47th Birthday with needy families at Nyamaroto slums in Kiamaina Ward, Bahati Constituency.

During the colorful event, a cake was cut and shared with the kids before sharing lunch and other foodsuff with them.

The Team Rani Ramchandani Foundation also donated sanitary pads to the teen girls from the area.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Rani Ramchandani Hsc who is also the current President Lions Club of Menengai, revealed that she chose to mark the birthday with the little angels in the Nyamaroto slum putting smiles in their faces.

“When I see them smile, I feel good. It brings more joy to me and the team,” she stated.

Rani who recently got a honorary degree for the humanitarian work she does, used the moment to call on the society to always support the needy in society and spread the smile.

She added that Team Rani Ramchandani Foundation will continue to invite those willing to serve through Charity work willingly.

Speaking during the event, Secretary General Dr Rani Ramchandani Foundation Dr. Werre Simiyu OGW lauded Rani for the gesture.

Dr. Werre who is also the Senior Deputy County Commissioner Nakuru East Sub county, added that the gesture is a way of inspiring the children from the slums that life will be better in future.no.mattwr their current situation.

“As we celebrate and mark birthday with the needy in society, we inspire them and they understand that we really appreciate them,” he stated.

Sentiments echoed by Pastor Kennedy Otieno Audi from House of Praise Church International.

He noted that sharing with community is a gesture that should be emulated by all.
