Mosop Ward MCA Dr. Alex Langat is the new Majority Leader County Assembly of Nakuru.
Langat was elected on UDA ticket to represent Mosop Ward.
It should be noted that UDA party garnered majority seats in Nakuru County assembly in the August 9 polls.
Dr. Langat will be deputized by Gilgil Ward MCA Rose Njoroge.
Biashara Ward MCA Fadhili Msuri who also won on UDA ticket is the Majority Whip and will be deputized by MCA Leah Serem.
In a communication made to the House by Speaker Joel Karuri Maina, Azimio Coalition in the house will be headed by Philip Wanjohi of Lare as Minority Leader to be deputized Nominated MCA Keziah Okumu.
Virginia Wamatha Gichanga of Hells gate Ward will serve as Minority Whip and deputized by Bethsheba Kerubo.
Speaker Karuri congratulated the new party leadership as they take over responsibilities.
“I take this opportunity to congratulate the political party leaders and wish them well in their new responsibilities” he stated in his communication.
