DCP Nakuru SG Simon Ole Nasieku lauds successful GenZs meeting at Party office

Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Nakuru Secretary General Simon Ole Nasieku has lauded the concluded GenZs’ meeting held at Nakuru’s DCP office.

In a statement, Nasieku extended deepest appreciation to the over 700 GenZs who showed up in large numbers for the impactful meeting held at the DCP Headquarters in Milimani, Nakuru.

“Your turnout was not just impressive it was inspiring. You brought energy, purpose, and a clear voice that cannot and will not be ignored,” he stated.

Nasieku commendedforum leaders Bashir Bushbaba and Wainaina Gichere for spearheading this important engagement.

He also commended Party Leader, Rigathi Gachagua, for taking time to address the forum all the way from the United States.

“Your message of hope and commitment to youth inclusion resonated deeply with the attendees,” he stated.

The SG further appreciated the presence and contributions of: Mr. Geoffrey Mwangi Gov Aspirant 2027,  Dr. Peter Mbae DCP NEC- Secretary Planning, Dr. William Wachira, the Regional Coordinator as well as all aspirants, mobilizers, and opinion shapers who played a key role in making this meeting a success.

Nasieku also had special thanks to the dedicated mobilizers whose tireless efforts made such a phenomenal turnout possible, adding that they exemplified the spirit of this movement.

During the meeting, Nasieku noted that as leader they acknowledge and respect the resolutions made by the GenZ participants, including:
1. Inclusivity in the allocation of party positions
2. Support for content creators and dancers as voices of the youth
3. An urgent meeting with H.E. Rigathi Gachagua upon his return
4. Assistance for youths arrested while supporting DCP causes
5. Consideration of Gen Zs/Youths in nominated MCA slots after the 2027 elections
6. Appointment of Gen Zs to executive positions within the party and government

“As a party, we reaffirm our commitment to walk this journey with you not just for you. The future is Gen Z, and today, Nakuru spoke loud and clear,” stated Nasieku.
