DCP Nakuru Chapter SG links impeachment of Nakuru Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware to his stand on Finance Bill

The DCP Nakuru Chapter Secretary General Simon Ole Nasieku has linked the process of impeaching Nakuru County Assembly Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware to his stand on Finance Bill.

In a press statement, Nasieku was categorical that the move to impeached Ngware is based on his stand of opposing Finance Bill 2025.

According to Nasieku, the Deputy Speaker is on record opposing the Bill during the burial of grandmother to Molo MP Kimani Kuria.

He added that instead of MCAs in Nakuru focusing on impeaching Deputy Speaker, they should focus on development agenda for the cosmopolitan County.

Nasieku claimed there is a top county hand in the process towards impeaching Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware.

“Why are we focusing so much on impeaching Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware instead of focusing on development? As leaders we need to focus on service to the people,” he stated.

The Nakuru DCP SG recalled how former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who is the current DCP Party Leader was impeached by his close allies led by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa.

He warned MCAs against impeaching Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware, adding that inn doing so they will be digging their own grave.

He cited 11 MCAs who are spearheading the process of impeaching Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware.

According to Nasieku, the MCAs include Alex Mbugua(Lakeview Ward), Njuguna Mwaura(Elburgon), Peter Njoroge(Murindat), John Mwangi(Turi), Grace Mwathi(Bahati), Francis Mungai(Mallewa), Vyginia Wamaitha(HellsGate), Isabella Makori(Subukia), Cyrus Dida(Mau Narok), Leah Wambui(Kabatini), George Nene(Elementaita).

The DCP Nakuru Chapter SG sounded a stern warning to the mentioned MCAs adding that in impeaching Deputy Speaker Joseph Ngware, they will be creating their own funeral come 2027.

According to Nasieku, such leader will not be given any chance in DCP if they go ahead to impeach Ngware.

“As DCP Nakuru Chapter Secretary General I want to make it clear that the list of names of these MCAs, let them forget about vying on DCP ticket come 2027 if they decide to impeach Ngware as Deputy Speaker,” he stated.
