Nakuru is making major strides in hospitality industry

In a press release, Mwangi noted that several new hospitality facilities are coming up within and without the City.

He termed this A new chapter that is rising in Nakuru City.

Mwangi who is also a player in the Hospitality industry singled out The Encore Hotel which he said is more than an upcoming landmark.

According to him,  it is a bold vision set to redefine hospitality in the region.

Strategically designed to serve MICE, leisure, wellness, and transit tourism, Mwangi pointed out that this iconic development positions Nakuru County as a competitive destination on the national and regional hospitality map.

The facility, Mwangi revealed that it has 205 elegantly appointed rooms, ranging from deluxe, executive categories to an exclusive Presidential Suite, hence structured to attract both high-yield corporate guests and premium leisure travelers.

“Purpose-built for events and conferences, the property boasts 23 modern meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, and an expansive 3500 sqm high-end events garden, setting a new benchmark for destination events in the region. The experience is further elevated by a high-end wellness center featuring gym, steam, sauna, Hydropools, massage/treatment rooms, salon, barber, a modern swimming pool, alongside 8 distinct eateries and lounges that offer diverse culinary and social experiences,” he stated.

Supported by 300 parking spaces, the hotel is fully optimized for large conferences, destination events, and high guest volumes with seamless flow.

According to Mwangi, The future of hospitality in Nakuru is not coming — it is being built.

The facility is expected to be opened in the quarter one of 2026.
