Civil Society Organizations in Nakuru County have been urged to work closely with government in achieving development goals.
Speaking on Friday during a breakfast meeting with Nakuru county CSOs, Nakuru county Governor Kinuthia Mbugua said the development agenda should not only be left to the government but need for collaboration.

Mbugua also reiterated that his government has put more effort in improving the infrastructure to ensure economic development.
he said the government has ensured more ECD centres are constructed and equipped fully.
“The county government has embarked on construction as well as equipping ECD centres and this will help in improving the education system in this county” he said.
Mbugua also urged the society to change the negative perception about youth polytechnics saying the county government has ensured full support for the polytechnics.
He said since 2013, the county government has constructed more polytechnics raising the number from 15 to 27.
“The county government has constructed more youth polytechnics since 2013.we had 15 now we are at 27 so let us embrace the polytechnics” he said.
The governor’s round table breakfast meeting was attended by county officials as well as civil society organizations in Nakuru County.
The meeting was convened by various partners among them centre for enhancing democracy and good governance-cedgg.
