He at the same time lauded the systems put in place by NYS in recruiting adding that it will ensure fairness.
“I am very impressed by the systems put in place to ensure continuous free and fair onboarding of our newly recruited NYS officers in different paramilitary colleges across the country,” he stated
The CSĀ while at Gilgil Paramilitary College, witnessed what he termed a smooth process and ensured all those who were recruited during the exercise from all the 1400 wards in the country are the same ones getting admitted.
He revealed that as per President William Ruto’s directive, 80% of the recruits will eventually join the disciplined forces in different capacities.
“I have personally ensured that this whole process is 100% free and fair. As instructed by His Excellency President William Ruto, 80% of these recruits will eventually join the disciplined forces in different capacities and therefore, this process must be above bond,” stated Kuria.
The CS revealed that he is in discussion with the Council of Governors to have all the TVETS across the country absorb these graduates when they complete their courses and make sure they benefit from extra courses in those institutions for the readiness of job export programs.
