County trains youth for online work

The County Government of Nakuru has launched the Online work program that targets to train youth on the use of monetizing digital platforms.

The training is aimed at equipping young people with digital online skills and knowledge that can enable them earn a living through online work.

The first batch of Over 25 youth have already been trained in Kuresoi South Sub County at the Kuresoi ICT hub.

Led by CEC for Education and ICT Mr Joseph Kiuna, the team was taken through different securing online jobs and the online work ethic required.

The training is expected to be escalated in all the eleven sub counties within the county.
