County Government steps in with aid to Subukia Family whose house was razed down by fire

The county government of Nakuru has stepped in with aid to Subukia Family whose house was razed down by fire.

The support was delivered by Directorate of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance to the family of Peter Maina in Tetu- Sub-location Subukia ward.

Donated items included Beddings such as Mattresses and Blankets and foodstuffs to start them off once again.

Subukia ward MCA Isabella Makori commended the kind Support extended to the family, thanking Govenor Susan Kihika for the prompt interventions and Support in assisting affected families County wide.

Further, she thanked neighbours for their timely response and Moral support to the affected family.

John Muchai from the Humanitarian Assistance office appreciated leaders for working together for common benefit of the residents.

He asked residents to observe due diligence while operating and using electric gadgets, to avoid fire incidents and report any incidents via Emergency toll free Number 0800724138.

Present was Tetu Sub-location Assistant Chief William Gitonga, Church and Village Elders.
