The County Government of Nakuru has partnered with Kingdom Seekers Church to improve facilities at Kasambara ECDE Centre in Gilgil Subcounty.
The move will see Kasambara Primary ECDE children in Eburru-Mbaruk Ward, Gilgil Sub-county benefit from improved learning facilities.
The partnership between the County Government and the Kingdom Seekers Fellowship is part of the church’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Senior Pastor Wahome from the church broke ground and offered prayers, proclaiming success and prosperity for those who will use the new infrastructure.
The project, entails the construction of three classrooms, a kitchen, and an ablution block, and is expected to be completed within one month, as it will employ the foam-work design for faster construction.
This initiative stems from Governor Susan Kihika’s strong relationship with churches and her commitment to fostering partnerships, recognizing the significant role they play within the community.
The event was graced by County Secretary Dr. Samuel Mwaura, CECM for Infrastructure Eng. Michael Kamau, CO for ICT & Public Communication Charles Koech, Director of the Efficiency and Monitoring Unit Patrick Kigunda, Sub-county Efficiency Officer Simon Gaitho, Ward Coordinator Margaret Ndumia, and the PA to the Area MCA.
