Egerton University was honored to host Ms. Charlene Ruto, who paid a courtesy visit during Agriculture Week, organized by the Faculty of Agriculture Students Association (FASA).
Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage welcomed Ms. Ruto at the Chancellor’s Chambers before joining students for the grand opening of the event. As a passionate advocate for agriculture and youth empowerment, the First Daughter spent the day engaging with students, exploring agricultural innovations, exhibitions, and research presentations.
Her visit reaffirmed the vital role of young people in transforming agriculture through creativity and sustainability.
