Nakuru’s Blessed Dancers Group has received Kshs 50,000 from Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat aspirant Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia in support towards their 10th Anniversary Celebration slated for November 29.

Wakili Ndumia had made a promise to support the group, and is a promise fulfilled in what he terms as true support to talents growth within Nakuru Town East Constituency.
He says, this is part of his agenda towards transformation of young people.
“We have great potential in our young people and that is why among my age da is to see talents growth,” he stated in a past interview.
Blessed Dancers Group is a group of young talents from Kivumbini Ward.

The Group will be marking 10 years since it was established in Nakuru, an event that according to a poster seen by famousnakuru.co.ke, will take place at St Teresa’s Primary School just next to Bondeni Affordable houses.
Several artists and groups from the entertainment sector have been invited to grace the event.
For many years, Kivumbini Ward has been known for tainted images owing to the criminal happenings linked to the notorious confirm gang in various estates within the ward.
However, this group of young talents is making residents now walk with shoulders high due to their exemplary performance in the art industry.
It should be recalled that some time back Ruth Waruguru Kamau, and Marvin Cheruiyot, who are members of the Blessed Dancers Group made Kivumbini Ward proud by emerging victors as Mr. and Miss Pre-Teen Nakuru County 2023.
The duo scooped the award after participating in the prestigious model competition held in Nakuru County.
As the same ‘Blessed Dancers Group’, this is a group that is putting smiles not only on residents of Kivumbini but Nakuru County as a whole.
Their trainer Jane Maina, in a past interview revealed that the group was started in 2015 to help avert the young generation from engaging in bad habits within the estates.
She added that it was a way of tapping into other talents besides football that Kivumbini is known for.
Though started with only five young talents, the group has grown as currently has 25 young talents being nurtured in dancing and modeling.
“We started this group to help tap into other talents such as dancing and modeling to help our kids. It also helps our young boys and girls to be busy rather than getting involved in criminal activities,” said Jane.
The group has also been feted in various Awards, emerging victors in various categories since 2021.
Her appeal is to well-wishers to step in and support such young talents as it motivates them to do even better.
“We need to support such and that is why we are calling on all our leaders to stand with these young ones as they strive to achieve their dreams through art,” said Jane.
