Barut’s Ubunifu Hub donates Computers to Eileen Ngochoch Comprehensive School

Eileen Ngochoch Comprehensive School in Nakuru West Constituency has received a donation of computers from Barut-based Ubunifu Hub.

The donation was delivered by staff from Ubunifu Hub led by one of the co-founders Joab Okello.

The two computers, he stated was a promise made to the institution.

Mr Okello added that the two computers will go a long way in support the school in various aspects.

This include Library Management as well as teaching matters Information Communication Technology(ICT).

“Earlier today we delivered two computers to Eileen Ngochoch Comprehensive school that we promised a while back. One is a fully functional computer to be used for library management and the other one is abit faulty and will be used for teaching purposes for the ICT lessons,” he stated.

Okello added that the gesture is not a communication that Ubunifu Hub has a lot, but because the facility cares.

According to him, they will continue to support education for local schools in the area.

It should be noted that Ubunifu Hub was started to promote digital literacy in Barut and neighbouring.

The Hub is situated at Barut centre and fully equipped where learners quench their thirst for computer literacy at a subsidized fee.

The centre has also held reading competitions.
