Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has embraced community engagements as a way of enabling residents participate fully in matters development in her constituency.
This, she says is in line with her campaign commitment that she made.
Through these barazas, staff from the MP’s office tour various Wards to discuss development agenda with the locals.
It is a noble move that also gives the constituents opportunity to air their concerns or questions and get responses from the MP’s office.
The constituents also get to get updates on ongoing projects and those that are yet to commence.
“During my campaigns, I made a commitment to uphold regular community engagements through Baraza meetings, dedicated to discussing community development and progress,” stated MP Njoki.
The barazas also serve as an avenue for locals to get comprehensive status report on all the petitions presented concerning Projects.
