Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama now stands out the senior most Jubilee Lawmaker in Nakuru County.
Arama was first elected on 2013 on ODM ticket before he joined Jubilee party on which he successfully defended his seat in 2017.
In 2022 August 9 polls, Arama once again clinched the seat on Jubilee party ticket within Azimio-One Kenya.
Jubilee party managed to get two Parliamentary seats in Nakuru county(Nakuru Town West and Bahati).
In Bahati, first time politician Irene Njoki managed to unseat the vocal Nakuru Lawmaker Kimani Ngunjiri of UDA.
It should be noted that in Rongai constituency where the incumbent is Raymond Moi of KANU, elections were postponed to August 29.
Arama’s open-door policy has seen him gain more closeness to the electorates.
The legislator was declared the winner by IEBC’s Nakuru West returning officer Moses Ahete after garnering 34,936 votes against his closest competitor Kamau Gathengi who garnered 29,343 votes.
He vows to continue with development agenda for the people of Nakuru Town West.
