All Nakuru county staff to fill Skills Audit Form

As a way of enhancing service delivery, all Nakuru County Government staff will be required to fill the Skills Audit Form.

The County Government of Nakuru has rolled out a skills audit form.

The form shall be filled by all staff as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery.

The form is designed to capture the capacity of county employees, and guide training programs in a structured and inclusive manner.

Staff will also have the opportunity to recommend the training they find most relevant, ensuring their professional growth.

The development of the skills audit form was agreed upon during a meeting chaired by the Head of Public Service, Dr. Samuel Mwaura, which brought together the County Executive and human resource officers.

Discussions centered on the ongoing human resource and skills audit, highlighting the importance of aligning staff competencies with departmental objectives.

The human resource audit covers key areas including organizational structure, training and development, compensation and wage bill management, performance management, and compliance with existing laws.

The process is aimed at identifying gaps, managing risks, and enhancing overall human resource effectiveness.
