All contacts of the Solai case test negative-Kinyanjui

All the contacts of Nakuru minor who tested positive for COVID-19 last week have tested negative.

This is according to Nakuru Governor  Lee  said all Kinyanjui who addressed media on Wednesday.

“The 44 contacts, among them family members and healthcare workers were traced and tested” said Kinyanjui.

The Governor once against revealing  testing of truck drivers is going on at Maai Mahiu while screening is being done at Kikopey, Barnabas, Total and Salgaa.

Statistics from County health department in Nakuru show that so far 67 truck drivers have been tested for Coronavirus at the Maai Mahiu Health Centre and they turned negative.

He was speaking outside his offices where he dispatched the first lot of face masks that were produced by County Polytecnics to all 55 wards.

The vocational training centers have been supported by the County Government to produce 55,000 face masks per week.
