AJS Open Day takes place at Nakuru Law Courts this Friday October 31

Nakuru Law Courts is this Friday October 31, 2025 hosting Alternative Justice System Open Day.

The event starts at 9am.

This is a platform where citizens will be able to learn more about AJS and some of the works done.

AJS practitioners and other stakeholders will be part of those showcasing during the event.

SPEAK Kenya and Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations are also part of the Alternative Justice Systems (AJS) Open Day at the Nakuru Law Courts.

“We’re showcasing our work in promoting access to justice for marginalized women and girls under the Make Way for Access to Justice Project — funded by the EU through UNDP Amkeni Wakenya,” a statement from SPEAK Kenya reads.

According to the Organization, it remains committed to making justice more inclusive, accessible, and people-centered.

In an interview with famousnakuru.co.ke, Head of Secretariat National Steering Committee- NaSCI-AJS Jemimah Aluda termed the AJS Open Day, a great platform for the AJS practitioners.

According to her, this serves as a platform to sensitize members of the public on matters AJS and what AJS has been able to achieve so far in Nakuru.

She urged Nakuru residents to turn up in large number and learn two or three aspects of AJS.
