NTE MP aspirant Boniface Ndumia pitches political tent in Kiratina as he sells his agenda

Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat Aspirant Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia on Saturday February 21, 2026 pitched tent in Kiratina estate in Menengai East Ward, selling his agenda as he seeks support ahead of 2027 general polls.

During the visit, Wakili Ndumia learnt that issues of titling still a challenge hindering development.

He was informed by locals that majority of plots only have alotment letters.

The seasoned Lawyer vowed to work towards addressing the same once he gets the seat of MP.

According to him, there is need for projects not to be awarded as political tools.

“We shall ensure the alotment letters are paid for and be converted into leases towards title deeds so that we can have development on our plots or even seek credit,” he said.

He reiterated that politics of ‘bossies’ should come to an end in Nakuru Town East Constituency.

Another menace in the area is Unemployment issue among youths and women empowerment.

Wakili Ndumia attributed this to poor leadership that has been there.

Sentiments echoed by locals who pointed out that there has been poor coordination between current leaders.

He called on residents to back his agenda and ambition moving foward so that he can help address such issues and ensure a transformartive agenda.

Wakili Ndumia also visited Christian Fellowship Kiratina Church( on Jesus Magnified Academy Grounds) where he met the senior citizens of Kiratina.

At the Church, Wakili Ndumia announced that ge will support the ongoing construction.

Elders at the church pointed out drainage, insecurity(criminal activities), drugs and substance abuse among locals remain major challenges.

It should be noted that Kiratina is one of the new units identified to be a Location. Locals stated that alot of police patrols have been taking place in Teachers estate rather than Kiratina-Mukunga area.

Wakili Ndumia announced that he will pay SHA for elderly from age 65 onwards in Kiratina, in a move to address the challenges of health in society.

“From next week, we shall pay SHA for elderly aged 65 and above. We shall start with a bunch of 10 moving forward,” he said.

On matters PWDs, Wakili Ndumia when elected MP, has promised to have a special needs school in every Ward of Nakuru Town East.

It should be noted that currently, Wakili Ndumia has been solely sponsoring Nakuru Paravolleyball Team.

On drugs and substance abuse among youth, Wakili Ndumia was categorical that the leadership that has been there has been contributing to the menace.

According to him, time is now that there be an overhaul of whole system of leadership.

“We need to ensure change in this Constituency and country at large by electing the right people into office come August 2027,” he said.

Wakili has embarked on a meet the people tour after some leave that he declared as respect to the late Christopher Kariuki alias Kawasaki(father to Victor Kamau- a member of Team Wakili) who was burried last Wednesday at South Cemetery.

During the visit, Wakili Ndumia who was accompanied by his wife, was endorsed and given blessings by the Senior citizens of Kiratina.
