Wakili Ndumia steps in with financial support for a Nakuru lady who made a distress call concerning her food business

Nakuru Town East Parliamentary Aspirant Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia has responded to a distress call by one lady who runs a food stall in Nakuru town.

The lady went on Tiktok and recorded a short video indicating that things were tough on her end and that she was unable to sustain her  business due to harsh economic times.

After seeing the video, Wakili Ndumia was touched and directed his team to trace the lady.

And true to his words, the team Wakili Ndumia did so and delivered the financial support to the lady towards sustaining her business.

“I have almost been moved to tears na hii kesi. Someone I knew while working at Assumption Centre. She was then running a promising business venture. But in 3 years, here she is. And the worst part she represents hundred of thousands of such cases in Nakuru and even a larger scale nationally – while we are busy talking of Singapore,” he stated in a Facebook post that was accompanied by the video of the lady.

According to Wakili Ndumia, the situation is dire for most Kenyans.

He urged Kenyans to focus and understand the reality on ground.

“Tunaumia. Vibaya. Kama si Wantam ni Wantam. Tufungueni macho na tuone the reality on the ground. It is a matter of life and death for most us rather than empty slogans,” he said.

He added that depression has engulfed many Kenyans with Mental Health issues on the rise.

The rate of suicide by even big shot entrepreneurs is on the rise.

He added that people are suffering in silence admitting that the number of desperate calls he gets on daily basis are overwhelming.

“I have a million and one desperate pleas by people genuinely in need. Cases I cannot handle all. It is a sad situation out here,” he stated.
