On Tuesday January 13, 2026, Chief Justice Martha Koome, presided over the swearing-in ceremony of two Commissioners of the Judicial Service Commission.
The ywo are Hon. Everlyne Olwande and Ladt Justice Njoki Ndung’u.
Hon. Everlyne Olwande was re-elected for a second term by members of the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association, while Hon. Lady Justice Njoki Ndung’u was elected by the Judges of the Supreme Court of Kenya as their representative to the Commission.
The two Commissioners will each serve a five-year term.
The Oath of Office was administered by the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, Hon. Winfridah Mokaya.
