Kihika steps in to relocate families affected by rising Lake Naivasha water

The county government of Nakuru under the leadership of Governor Susan Kihika has stepped in to assist families affected by rising Lake Naivasha waters.

Over 500 families from Kihoto village have been relocated.

At the directive of Governor Kihika, a team from county Disaster Management led by Joyce Ncece coordinated the exercise and the families have been moved to safer places.

Governor Kihika assured them that no one will be left out in matters development.

The County Government is working closely with other partners to ensure safe water, sanitation services and emergence aid to the affected families.
