Nairobi leaders’ message ahead of SabaSaba

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has spoken ahead of the SabaSaba protests.

Speaking during a media briefing in Nairobi ahead of the Saba Saba demonstrations, she  reaffirmed the constitutional right of every Kenyan to protest and be heard

The youthful Senator However, called on demonstrators to maintain peace and discipline.

According to her, politicians should not be allowed to delegitimize the cause.

“I strongly urge all demonstrators to maintain peace and discipline Let us not give politicians an opportunity to delegitimize your cause by engaging in violence or disrupting businesses,” she stated.

She added, “Your strength is in our message, not in mayhem”

Sentiments echoed by Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris, MPs George Aladwa, Felix Odiwuor Jalango and Senator Tabitha Mutinda.

They called on those who will participate in SabaSaba to put Kenya First.
