The Lawmaker condemned police for using excessive force on innocent Kenyans.

Speaking when he paid last respects to the late at a Nakuru mortuary, Arama was categorical that Police officers who are behind the shooting incident must face the full wrath of law.

He assured the family that as leaders, they will follow up the matter to ensure justice is served.

At the same time, the Lawmaker defended London residents who demonstrated blocking the main road at Gioto.

According to him, this was a way of addressing the concerns and to prompt action.

He revealed that already suspected officers have been arrested and the judicial process is on.

“We are here to assure the family that we shall ensure justice is served. As leaders we are saying that if someone has done a crime, should be arrested and taken to court, but not being shot or killed,” he said.

Arama was accompanied by Francis Njoroge from Governor Susan Kihika’s political office.

Njoroge conveyed Governor Kihika’s condolences to the family, assuring them that justice shall be served.
