MP Alfred Mutai’s promise on roads improvement fulfilled as Engineers land on site

Kuresoi North MP Alfred Mutai’s promise on improving infrastructure is being realized following the landing of engineers from National Government Ministry of Roads to the Constituency.

It will be recalled that during the recent launch of bursary cheques for Dayschools and Technical Institutions, MP Mutai assured residents that he has lobbied for several roads within the Constituency for upgrade to tarmack.

On Tuesday June 3, 2025 Engineers from Ministry of Roads and the Chairman NG-CDF Kuresoi North Mr Robinson Ngetich were on site within the Constituency to carry out survey and measurement of Kinamba, Baringo valley-Umoja-Chepkinoyo centre Road, Chepkinoyo centre-Murindoko Road,
Murindoko-Chebole to Kapchumo.

The 30KM Road is expected to undergo upgrade to tarmack.

The commencement of the work will see local youth engaged in casual work and earn their daily bread from the same.

It should be noted that this is just one among many roads that MP Mutai has lobbied from the National Government for tarmacking and upgrade.

Other roads are Kiambereria-Chesir Road, Kafucho-Kipkoris Road, and Seguton-Langwenda-Kamwaura-Bomet Road.

According to the first term serving Lawmaker, the upgrade of the roads to required standards will go a long way in ensuring smooth movement of goods to the markets hence boosting the economic growth of the Constituency.
