21 Nakuru youths under forced quarantine for contravening guidelines on COVID-19

21 youths in Nakuru have been placed under forced quarantine for contravening guidelines on Covid-19.

According to Nakuru West Deputy County Commissioner Elmi Shadow says the 21 were arrested taking selfies and profession photos at the Milimani showground.

He says they were not complying with the social distancing guidelines.

The DCC adding that the group that comprised of ages between 18 and 27 were not putting on face masks to leading to their arrest and put under forced quarantine at the KMTC-Nakuru centre.

“We arrested the 21 for not complying with the set guidelines on COVID-19,” said Shafie.
