2017 Elections will not be postponed, DP Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has today in Nakuru County insisted that the date for the general election will not change.
While addressing a huge crowd of people who had turned up today at Keringet AGC Church in Kuresoi South, the DP Ruto said those spreading rumours that the elections will be postponed were day dreaming.

told that they are dreaming. Elections will be held as scheduled because that is what the constitution says. Those who want the day of the election changed have been caught unprepared,” Said Ruto.
The DP also gave the assurance that the Jubilee government will not entertain any politician who tries to sow strife among Kenyans and said that those seeking to be elected should do so without creating division among Kenyans.
On health issues, the Deputy President said that the government had fully equipped the Nakuru Provincial General Hospital and there was no more need to travel to Nairobi to seek medication there.

“Governor Kinuthia (Mbugua) can tell you that we have fully equipped the Nakuru Hospital. There are ICU equipment, radiology machines for cancer treatment and for dialysis at your hospital in Nakuru and you no longer have to travel far to seek treatment,” said Ruto amid cheers from the crowd.
Ruto also took the opportunity to talk about the achievements that the Jubilee’s government has achieved so far.
“We have built the SGR which will soon reach Nakuru before extending to Kisumu and Malaba. We have also improved the road network, taken electricity to the countryside and above all, not a single candidate paid exam fees because the government had already done that.
In conclusion, Ruto said that all those implicated in corruption whether in National or County government or in the opposition should face the law.
